Non-PSP Stuff

I want to share with you all helpful programs which I use in my computer for all sorts of stuff. Hope it helps you too!

It's actually "micro" torrent
  • uTorrent - A small-sized BitTorrent client for downloading torrents by P2P or peer-to-peer. It is very efficient and easy to use....and it's free! Download virus-free cool torrents from thepiratebay.org and demonoid.me. You can find readily-converted movies for your PSP and great PSP games in these awesome sites all FREE
    • If you want to know how to download files using uTorrent, go here.
    • Tip: To download PSP games and readily-converted movies in these sites, just type "psp" (without the quotation marks) on their respective search bars and choose whether you want to find movies, games, apps, and all kinds of stuff related to PSP.

  • Orbit - A useful free program to download files by FTP and other protocols. I use it to download videos from YouTube and other files from the internet. It has a fast download speed and very convenient to use because you can pause and resume most downloads and it integrates with popular browsers like Firefox and Chrome. Here are some cool features of this program:
    • When you download a file through Chrome, instead of Chrome downloading it slow, it will be transferred automatically to Orbit for a faster download speed.
      • Tip: If your download didn't automatically transfer to Orbit, cancel your download and go to Chrome's download page (or press Ctrl+J). Copy the url shown by clicking the url until all of it is selected, then right click, and then copy it. Open Orbit and click "New" on the top left corner and then the "Create New Download" will be shown with the url you copied already pasted in it. Lastly, click "Download".

    • In Firefox, it is easy to download YouTube videos because when you hover your mouse in the video, a download pop-up will appear. Just keep in mind that when installing Orbit, check the boxes of the browsers you want Orbit to integrate with.
    • A Grab++ feature is present in the latest version of Orbit to sniff files from a page. It is found in the Tools tab.

  • WinRar - A "not fully free" program used to open and extract compressed files (.rar, .zip, etc.). The files you mostly download from torrent sites are all compressed for a smaller size and for them to upload just one file, which means you really need an archiver. For an absolutely free archiver, try 7-Zip. I use WinRar because mine is cracked already and not a trial version anymore. Where did I get it? Secret!
You're expecting a funny comment but there is none
  • CCleaner - CCleaner is free but you can also buy it if you want more features. The free version isn't bad. It doesn't nag you on buying the other versions and you can even check for updates for it. It cleans your registry and deletes unimportant files that slows down your PC. Just don't check boxes from the advanced selection because you may delete some important files.
